About Sydney
Sydney is a theatre lover, she specializes in acting, musical theatre, and jazz singing with a growing interest in film. She completed her BFA in Theatre at the University of Texas at Arlington with a musical theatre focus in 2021. Her hobbies include watching movies, reading, thrift shopping, stage makeup and has recently taken up fencing, spear combat, and tap dancing. Notable Roles
Since graduating Sydney has gotten the opportunity to do quite a bit of acting, playing Karessa in Tick... Tick... Boom! As well as doing a couple commercials for Bamboo Grove Creative and Margaritaville. Most recently, she got the amazing opportunity to play Louise in Mainstage Irvings production of Gypsy directed by theatre legend Michael Serrecchia. As well going on while understudying Leading Player in Theatre Frisco's Pippin. While working on Gypsy, she became a Camp Councilor at Camp X Disney in their show Mickeys Big Adventure. And while working on Pippin she became Deputy Maverick McAllister, stopping train robberies on the historic Grapevine Vintage Railroad.
During her time at UTA she performed a variety of roles such as Jenny in Company, Emma Goldman in Ragtime, and Lina in the debut performance of Dig.
Other notable roles she's performed have been Kathy in Singin' in the Rain, Billie Bendix in Nice Work if You Can Get It, and Nadine in The Wild Party.
